What sbfindex.com collects when you visit, why, and how to opt out. Last updated October 27, 2026.
What we collect
- Page analytics. Through Vercel Web Analytics: pages viewed, the referring site, campaign tags in links, country, device and browser. No cookies.
- Server logs. Each page view's network address, approximate location and referring site. We look up which organization owns the network (for example a company, university or government office) to see which institutions read the site.
- Share codes. Your browser gets a random code, stored on your device (not a cookie), shown in the address bar as
?r=. When someone opens a link you shared, we can see the visit came through your link. The code contains nothing about you. - Visitor identification (United States only). A third-party service may match a visit to a professional profile, such as name, job title, employer, LinkedIn page and business email, using its own data. It does not run for visitors outside the US.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message to reply.
How we use it
To understand who reads the site and how it spreads, and to follow up with press and researchers. There are no accounts and no ads, and we don't give this information to anyone beyond the service providers described here.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the site and runs its analytics. A visitor-identification provider runs the US matching above. Live prices load in your browser straight from Hyperliquid and Coinbase, so those services see a connection from your device, as they would on any site that uses them.
Your choices
- Your browser's privacy settings and content blockers can turn off analytics and visitor identification. The site works the same either way.
- Clear this site's data in your browser to reset your share code, or delete the
?r=part of a link before sharing it. - Email hi@sbfindex.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it deleted, or to opt out of visitor identification. We'll do it and tell you how to remove yourself from the provider's own database.
